I have been a Spider-Man fan my whole life. I have dressed up as him for Halloween and read some of his original comics. My father has made me feel like Spider-Man when he picked me up, and let me climb on the walls and swing around. When I first saw the trailer, I knew I was going to see “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.”
I saw it and was not disappointed at all. Spider-Man provides a wild ride with an amazing arc. The one thing I can’t stop thinking about is the art style. It is the most uniquely styled movie I can think of. The movie is like a moving comic book, complete with the black lines used for movement.
There are a lot of little things put into this movie that will take many viewings to see. There are so many references to Spider-Man that I noticed, and many I probably didn’t. One thing that definitely sets this movie out is the amazing soundtrack.
I have listened to it at least four times. It features amazing tracks from Post Malone, Juice WRLD, Lil Wayne, and XXXTentacion. Those are only some of the big names in the album. The movie also features a The Notorious B.I.G. song that is not on the soundtrack.
Overall, “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” is a great movie for everyone and is backed by a star-studded soundtrack. If you are considering what to see in theaters over break, I would definitely recommend this movie.
