“Time flies. It’s up to you to be the navigator.” Robert Orben was completely right in saying this. The four years of high school have blown by, and it’s the choices made by our seniors that have gotten them to where they are today. Some are going off to big time colleges such as Yale, University of Illinois, and Northwestern University. Others are choosing to go straight into the workforce.
Whatever these Crusaders choose to do after May 25th, Brother Rice has had a vital role in the men they have become the past four years. When asked about what Brother Rice has meant to him and what he has gotten from choosing Rice as his high school, this is what senior Billy Roche had to say about how Rice has gotten him to where he is: “By the help of my teachers guiding me to the right path, teaching me how to have a great work ethic and to not cut corners.” Our seniors walked into Brother Rice in 2013, unaware of how big of an effect the school would have on the people they would become academically, spiritually, and as men of Edmund.
